Helensburgh

October 2008: A brief trip to Helensburgh after our longer visit to Cardross (described in a previous blog!)

Below, the West Kirk in Colquhoun Square

'Cafe 19' in West Clyde Street (which we discovered was a good place for coffee and cakes!)

Looking back towards the town from the pier in the evening

At the end of the day

Hello! I live in rhu, which is the village next to helensburgh, and cafe 19 was a favourite with me and my friends! I just though it was a nice coincidence. Try the special choc-bannana milkshake - its to die for!

Hello - thanks for your message and the tip! That choc-banana milkshake sounds gorgeous, I'll make a note of it for next time! I don't think I know Rhu but I like the whole area!
Best wishes, Jane
